Gingerbread Ornament

We did this in class today, and many students wanted the recipe.

Supplies-big bowl
wooden spoon
wax paper
gloves (if you want)
straws
cookie cutters
ribbon
1 & 1/2 50 oz jars of applesause
9 3.27 oz jars of cinnamon

Mix applesause and cinnamon in a big bowl until it is about like cookie dough. Roll out about 1 cm. thick. Push in the cookie cutter, remove excess, then remove cookie cutter. Use the straw to punch a hole in the middle of the ornament. Let dry for one day. One the second day, flip the ornament over. Continue until completely dry. (It can take several days.)

Enjoy!
