Watch the above Holes movie trailer. The author of the book, Louis Sachar, wrote the screenplay for the movie as well. After watching the trailer, does the movie seem to follow the book? Do you notice any differences? Why do you think the author made some changes from the book to the movie?

I think that its a little differnt than the book.
Well the book has a few diferrent things than the movie.No not really.Maybe because he cant do ecxact everything from the movie and make it into the book
Stanly uses soap in the movie and not in the book.

The movie trailer was different because Stanley wasn't fat,He gets to use soap,and Mr.Sir chases after Stanley when he runs away.
I think that the movie follows the book but I think that the author changed it up a bit to make people want to watch it.And I noticed a few differences.

I saw that Mr. Sir fell in a hole, Mr. Sir chased after Stanley and a lizard chased Stanley. I think he made the differences so it wouldn't be exactly like the book.

Yes, the movie follows the book because it had all the characters from the book. I think there was difrences because some books are fiction and he wantes the movie to be kinda fiction.
