Lizards

The lizards never bit Stanley or Zero, but they were hungry. Why did the lizards never bite the boys? When Stanley first tries to get out of the hole, the lizard digs his claws into him. When the attorney arrived, the lizards slid off of Stanley and Zero easily. Thought?

We have learned through flashbacks about Elya Yelnats, Stanley's great, great grandfather. When asked by Mr. Pendanski who was to blame for Stanley being in Camp Green Lake, Stanley said his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather.
